Are Hidden Labor Costs Eroding Your Profits? A Free Event!

in Estimating,Software,Start-ups

The event is over, but I’ll have a replay for you very soon; maybe even today.  It was great.  I’ll tell you all about it.

Over 60% of small and medium size businesses use Intuit’s Quickbooks for their accounting program.  And I know that many construction firms, myself included,  use Quickbooks to keep track of their finances.  It works and is not that complicated to use.

What if you could use Quickbooks a lot more efficiently?  What if you could make it do a lot more for you?  What if you’re spending more money on your labor costs than you should?  It is a fact that as you begin to understand your numbers better, you have the capability to increase your profits.  I am a firm believer in squeezing every dollar of profit out of my gross profit, without ever sacrificing quality or customer service of course.

Which brings me to my point.  I have a real find for you here.  Her name is Diane Gilson.  She owns and operates Info Plus (+) Accounting.  That in and of itself is nothing unusual.  What is unique is that she is an expert, not only at using and teaching Quickbooks, but also in the financial aspects of construction.  She knows all about your business and the best ways to set it up financially.  Her associate, Tracy, is even a licensed builder in the state of Michigan.  Diane has spoken at NARI, NAHB and the Remodeling Show, among many others.  She even wrote a book called Accounting with Quickbooks for Home Builders and Remodelers, published by NAHB.

Here’s the rest of the point.  Diane is putting on a free webinar this Tuesday.  She is even doing two sessions, which hopefully will accommodate most of you.  The times are 11 AM and 8 PM.  The webinar is called “Are Hidden Labor Costs Eroding Your Profits”.  Something we can all learn from.  It’s worth a shot listening to this.  Especially if it saves you a few thousand next year.

I hope you’ll listen to this webinar.  Remodeler Biz is dedicated to finding you resources that are useful to you and your biz.  And give you a better bottom line.  So go ahead and sign up, listen, take notes, and see for yourself what Diane has to teach.

PS I’ll leave this up for a few days past the webinar so you can comment on the presentation and content.  Let me know what YOU think.
